Orlando Police are reporting an officer was shot and killed this morning on Princeton Street just west of John Young Parkway.

Loyd reportedly opened fire on a Sheriff Deputy’s vehicle when he saw them near North Lane and Pine Hills Drive. He then stole a vehicle and fled.
