The great Johnny Cash‘s career experienced a resurgence 2002-2003 when he released a new album that included covers of non-country songs.

Cash was introduced to a younger audience and old fans got to see Cash struggle and sing about getting old and friends and loved ones passing on.

Johnny Cash passed away in September 2003, the July before he died he gave one final acoustic performance at the Carter Family Ranch.

The performance is Johnny singing some of his classics as well as gospel standards. Cash also talks about his wife June, who had recently passed.
