If you’ve ever been to a championship game in any sport, it’s an incredible feeling. Just getting to go to the Super Bowl is often an unattainable dream for many people.
That’s why it’s so great that Vice President Mike Pence went to the Super Bowl and brought along wounded veterans as his guests!
The Vice President chose one Falcons fan and one Patriots fan to go with him to the big game in Houston. Marine Staff Sgt. Anthony Mannino, Jr., who received wounds in Iraq in 2008, and Army Staff Sgt. Frederick Manning, who was wounded in Afghanistan just last year flew with the Vice President and Second Lady Karen Pence.
What a great gesture and what an AMAZING GAME to be able to see! Pence said he wanted to show appreciation to all veterans. He said it was a “…small token of the gratitude of the people of the country.”
Tell others about this! Vice presidents can bring almost anybody they want to attend a championship game. That Mike Pence showed the respect and honor he did for the veterans he brought to the Super Bowl shows just how great of a vice president he is.
