Joanna Palani has been through a lot in her 23 years. She was born in a refugee camp in Iraq during the first Gulf War. Eventually she moved to Denmark. The college student of Iranian and Kurdish ancestry fired her first gun when she was nine-years-old. And recently she used those skills to kill over 100 ISIS soldiers.

This is one tough woman!

And that’s why ISIS wants her dead.

In 2014, she left school and headed to Syria to fight first against the Assad regime and then against ISIS. While fighting with Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), she helped free young Yazidi girls being used as sex slaves by the radical Islamic terrorists.

In 2015, Denmark banned her from travel. Concerned with those she had fought beside, she went back to the Middle East anyhow to kill more jihadists.

Joanna has killed over 100 ISIS jihadists, but that didn’t matter to Danish authorities. When she returned, she was jailed for three weeks and her passport was confiscated. Now, she is seen as a criminal.

“I am sorry for breaking the law but I had no choice in my mind at the time,” she said. “Those I risked my life for, are now taking away my freedom. I did not expect to lose almost everything for fighting for our freedom and our safety.”

Now, ISIS has a $1 million bounty on Joanna’s head. But, since she had to hand over her passport, her hiding spots are limited.

The video below has more information and pictures about Joanna’s battle against ISIS.

What an amazing woman. She put her life on the line when she didn’t need to and now she needs our prayers for her continued safety!
