At least one French policeman and one other have been wounded in a shooting on Champs-Elysees in Paris. A second police officer has died from the shooting.

French police believe the shooters actions were probably a “terrorist act.”

A local report indicates the shooter was wielding a Kalashnikov rifle.

The shooter was killed.

An eyewitness reports the shooter got out of a car and targeted the policeman who was stopped at a stop light!

French police have locked down the Champs Elysee and are telling locals to avoid the area. They have also deployed riot police.

Reuters is reporting the gunman was known to security services in Paris.

There are also reports shots have been fired from another location near the Champs-Elysees.

French police have launched a massive manhunt for a second gunman.
