In a gross display of incompetence, the Democratic Mayor of Cincinnati issued a proclamation in honor of a man who killed police officer Sonny Kim. Mayor John Cranley stunningly declared June 1st to be “Tre Day” after cop killer Trepierre Hummons.
Hummons murdered Sonny Kim in 2015 after luring police with two 911 calls. He was then shot and killed by another officer. Ironically, Cranley spoke at Kim’s funeral yet his office still issued the proclamation bearing the Mayor’s signature.

Cranley held a press conference where he cried, claiming it was a mistake and not intentional.
You can see that below.
It sounds as if Cranley is handing out proclamations like candy in this election year. Even if he didn’t intentionally issue this, he is ultimately responsible for it. He honored a cop killer. This what happens when you have incompetent leadership.
Our police officers are under fire by hostile people at every turn. Officer Kim lost his life in the line duty and Democrat Cranley honored his killer. There is no way to rationalize it.
