Pauley Perrette has been on NCIS for 15 seasons, but this will be the final year for her character Abby Sciuto. She addressed the rumors head-on with a tweet explaining that the decision was made last year.
So it is true that I am leaving NCIS…

NCIS fans don’t appear to be taking the news well. They are concerned Perrette’s departure foreshadows the end of the long-running CBS series.

NCIS is doomed without you, Michael Weatherly, and Cote de Pablo. #RIP

agreed! 100% There is only so much poor Mark Harmon can do by himself. How can the show survive? How will Gibbs make it w/o Abby????

In stunning development, fan favorite (& one of the nicest people in Hollywood) Pauley Perrette announces she’s leaving NCIS after 16 years. pic.twitter.com/tNWbe0LCDI

The 48-year-old actress’s announcement also addresses the skin care ads that claim she uses their products. Perrette is concerned that NCIS fans are falling for this phony endorsement that is scamming people and using their credit cards without proper authorization. Video of her speaking about this is below. She also reveals what she uses to keep her skin looking so young.
NCIS will certainly look different next season without Abby Sciuto. What a dramatic change this will be. NCIS is going to have to deal with a lot of changes soon. Until then, we still have an entire season to watch Abby.
