The extreme left – which, unfortunately, means most of the left these days – will go to any length to rationalize their abhorrent behavior. Such is the case with a (second) man who smashed Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

On Wednesday, a judge ordered 24-year-old Austin Mikel Clay to be put on three years probation, to receive psychological counseling and to pay nearly $10,000 to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for his crime of taking a pickaxe to Trump’s star in July. Clay entered a no contest plea to a felony count of vandalism.

Clay recorded his vandalism and the video went viral.

Why is the left so obsessed with Donald Trump?

This guy originally thought he was totally justified in what he did.

Back in August, when he was first brought before a judge, Clay told reporters that his vandalism was a “rightful and just act.” He said he wanted to “bring about positive political change.”

He didn’t even believe anyone should have charged or prosecuted him.

What kind of warped mind would believe destroying private property in this manner would bring about any kind of positive change, political or otherwise?

The UK’s Daily Mail reported, “Passersby appeared unfazed as Clay repeatedly lifted the tool over his head and smashed the plaque. At one point, a man appeared in the video standing close to the scene as Clay paid him no mind.”

The left mob continues to terrorize anyone they see as the “enemy,” from Republican members of Congress to Fox News hosts.

President Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star is no exception. In fact, this incident was the second time the star had been destroyed. The man who smashed Trump’s star two years ago bailed out the second smasher, Clay, in July.

We can assume both men think this behavior is cute. Would they think the same if someone had physically destroyed a Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton symbol?

No, liberals would consider that mindless and idiotic recklessness. And they would be right.
