Hollywood star Robert De Niro went on yet another rant against President Donald Trump over the weekend, this time going so far as to compare him to Nazi dictator Adolph Hitler.

When asked by Guardian if Trump is a white supremacist, De Niro responded with an emphatic “Yes.” He was then asked if he believes Trump is a fascist, to which he responded:

“I guess that’s what it leads to. If he had his way, we’d wind up in a very bad state in this country.

I mean, the way I understand it, they laughed at Hitler. They all look funny. Hitler looked funny, Mussolini looked funny and other dictators and despots look funny.

What bothers me is that there will be people in the future who see him as an example and they’ll be affected in some way, but they’ll be a lot smarter and do more damage as a despot.”

Daily Mail reported that De Niro went on to slam calls some have made for Trump’s critics to take a more civil tone when they criticize him. The actor said that he needs to “fight fire with fire,” adding, “You can’t be so gentlemanly all the time.”

Who does this guy think he is?!

De Niro has spent decades being an overpaid member of the Hollywood elite, and his rants against Trump show just how out of touch he is with the plight of real working class Americans. His level of anger against Trump shows just how livid he is over the fact that we no longer have a president in office whose main priority is helping the wealthy liberal stars of Hollywood fill their pockets. Trump is instead focused on helping the working class Americans who need it, and he has no interest in kissing up to Hollywood elites like De Niro while he does it.

It’s time for De Niro to stick to what he’s known for, which is acting, and stop trying to bash Trump every chance he gets. At this point, De Niro is only embarrassing himself with this nonsense.
